Oliva, Spain - A Place in the Sun

Oliva, Spain Ben Hillman

Ben Hillman is helping newlyweds Des and Julie find their dream permanent home in the town of Oliva in the Spanish region of Valencia. With a budget of £105,000 they’re looking to buy their first property together that has a minimum of three bedrooms as they have a big extended family. Ben has five fantastic properties to show them but will any of them prove to be the perfect place?

About the area

Oliva in South eastern Spain is about an hour’s drive south of Valencia and an hour north of Alicante – you can fly into either city in about two hours from the UK.

Oliva itself is actually split into three areas–the old town, the new town and the beach district. It’s been a very popular destination for Spanish holiday makers and second home owners for a long time, though it’s becoming more popular with people from all over Europe. Overall though it’s a great place to hang out and enjoy the town’s traditional Spanish vibe – with a touch of cosmopolitan spice!
