Leah Charles-King is coming to the help of Kerry and Stewart from Newcastle. With five children and eight grandchildren they’re looking forward to finding a little oasis on the Canary Island of Lanzarote they can all escape to! Leah has five fantastic properties to show them for their budget of £120,000 but will any of them be perfect?
About the area
Lanzarote is the northernmost of the Canary Islands and it takes about four hours to fly there from the UK. The main airport is on the east coast near the capital Arrecife so it doesn’t take more than half an hour to get anywhere on this side of the island
Our search was focused on Lanzarote’s east coast in and around the towns of Costa Teguise and Puerto Del Carmen, which are two of the most popular destinations for the more than three million people who come here on holiday each year – and home to a large percentage of the five thousand strong British population on the island – attracted by the dozens of beautiful beaches and warm if sometimes windy year round climate – not to mention all the temptations of the many bars and restaurants which cater for tourists and locals alike.
