Trish and Ruth are looking for their perfect holiday home near the popular resort of Puerto del Carmen in Lanzarote. They know and love the island after holidaying there for over 15 years. Sara Damergi is tasked with showing them the best of what their £140,000 budget can get them, but will any of the five properties she has up her sleeve result in an offer?
About the area
Lanzarote is the most easterly of Spain’s Canary Islands and direct flights to its international airport take around 4 hours from the UK. It’s synonymous with volcanoes and much of its inland landscape is dominated by its volcanic, moon-like landscape which also produces some unique tasting wine. Puerto del Carmen is the island’s most popular tourist destination. The town has one of Lanzarote’s finest beaches, Playa Grande – which stretches for half a mile and runs alongside a busy promenade filled with places to eat, drink and shop. There’s also Playa Chica, a charming bay popular with swimmers and families, and Playa Pocillos which is great for watersports. So there really is something for everyone in this sun-soaked spot.
