Craig Rowe is flying to Abruzzo in Italy to help social worker Jacqui and health and safety officer Michael find their dream holiday home. They’ve always dreamed of finding a great home in the mountain villages that one day could become their permanent home. About the area

The Abruzzo region is on the eastern coast of central Italy. Direct flights to Pescara airport take under three hours from the UK. There is the Adriatic sea on one side, with tons of sand and pebbly beaches and the snow peaked Apennines on the other. These mountainous areas are dotted with traditional hilltop villages bursting with authentic Italian charm and culture. Abruzzo also has three national parks and almost 40 nature reserves to explore. Pescara is the main city of the region, with about 120,000 residents, and some great shopping, as well as a lovely sandy beach.
