A Place in the Sun Live returns to Birmingham
We had an amazing weekend at A Place in the Sun Live at Birmingham! Over the last three days we welcomed more than 5,500 visitors through the doors of the NEC Birmingham for A Place in the Sun Live.
We were joined by a fantastic range of exhibitors who had flown in from around the world. They included estate agents, lawyers, property experts, tax and wealth and currency specialists from France, Spain, Cyprus, the Canary Islands, Portugal, Florida and more! Over the weekend they answered all our visitors' questions, and helped to kick-start (or progress) their overseas property journeys.
Also in attendance were A Place in the Sun TV presenters Jasmine Harman, Jonnie Irwin and Laura Hamilton. On stage they spoke about their experiences in the overseas property industry, gave their top tips for buying a property abroad and provided some behind the scenes insights into what it's like to film an episode of the TV show! Audience members also had a chance to chat with the presenters face-to-face, have their Show Guides signed, and take a selfie with the stars of the show!
On Saturday, Jasmine Harman was reunited with her former TV house hunters Paolo and Themis for the Meet the Buyers session. Paolo and Themis bought a property on the show back in 2020, and are now home owners in Kapparis, Cyprus! They caught up with Jasmine to fill her in on what happened after the cameras stopped rolling on their episode.
They gave our audience first-hand insights into what it’s like to appear on the show, and shared their advice for navigating the buying process.
Fans of the Channel 4 TV show were also able to take screen tests with our production team - we hope to see them on our screens very soon!
We now focus our attention towards the fourth and final A Place in the Sun Live event of 2021 – Our Dublin Property Showcase on the 15th and 16th October at the RDS Dublin. This is a boutique event with fewer tickets available, so be sure to get yours today!
