Craig Rowe is jetting off the Canary islands to help Bridget and Rob fulfil their long held dream of buying a holiday home in Southern Tenerife. The couple have devoted their lives to their work and raising their children, as well as being foster parents to many children. Now they can’t wait to do something special for themselves by finding a property to escape to for relaxing breaks and plenty of winter sunshine! Tenerife takes about 4 and a half hours to fly to from the UK – and Los Cristianos is just over 20 minutes drive from the airport in the south of the island. Tenerife is the largest of all the Canary Islands with a year round population of around one million, who are joined by more than five million holiday makers each year, more than a third of whom are British! The island’s best known for its volcanic black sand beaches and Mount Teide, the highest point in all of Spain – though we’ll be staying closer to ground level in the south of the island, which is a mixture of lively resort towns, quieter more secluded spots, and some very exclusive areas as well!
