The Costa del Azahar has been named as the most popular destination for Brits buying Spanish property in a recent survey by Rightmove Overseas.
Located north of the Costa Blanca, the area has been largely undiscovered by Brits who are now starting to realise the extent of its charms and beginning to make the most of its cheaper property prices.
Marc Pritchard, Sales and Marketing Manager Taylor Wimpey España, comments: “One of the great things about the Costa del Azahar is that fact that it has maintained all that is authentic about Spain. The coast has upheld its appeal with people and activities still in keeping with Spanish culture and tradition - something that appeals to second-home buyers who want to immerse themselves in the true Spanish way of life.
Pritchard is keen to highlight the popular coastal area of Alcossebre as an area overseas property investors should consider. House prices in Alcossebre are 15.8% less expensive than the national average of Spain according to recent figures from Spanish property portal Kyero.com.
"Our latest development located in Alcossebre on the Costa del Azahar - a first for us - affords a highly sort after frontline location with direct access to the sea matched with an affordable price tag - a perfect combination for buyers looking for something special that won't break the bank!" he added.
Prices at Taylor Wimpey's new beachfront development in Alcossebre start from €172,000.
