Properties for Sale in Cabo Roig

Property in Cabo Roig
Bursting with life, it’s easy to see why Cabo Roig is so popular with British and Irish expats. With beautiful beaches, stunning coastal paths, a busy marina and lively nightlife, the town ticks many of the boxes for those seeking a different lifestyle.
Cabo Roig is also the chosen location of our new A Place in the Sun Currency office in Spain! Due to open in early summer - if you are over this way, come and see us!
The town’s broad avenues are lined with palm trees and landscaped gardens help give it an airy feel. Cabo Roig’s Strip is home to many bars and restaurants and is perfect for people-watching as you dine al fresco.
The Marina has undergone a massive refurbishment in recent years and is now one of the most popular mooring spots on the Costa Blanca coast. It is also home to the town’s yacht club.
The watchtower, which dates from the 16th century, was once the focal point of the town. It has been converted into a restaurant where you can steep yourself in history and enjoy the Mediterranean views.
Both of the town’s main beaches, Cala Caleta and Cala Capitan are clean and safe and Blue Flag rated. Property with sea views commands a premium. A 2-bed apartment in a gated community looking straight out over Cala Capitan costs €350,000 but you can buy a 2-bed townhouse, with more distant sea views for just under €140,000.
Golfers are spoilt for choice with the many world class courses in the area, and the coastal paths delight walkers. A clifftop path links Cala Caleta and La Zenia beaches, with breathtaking views and plenty of small coves to explore along the way. La Zenia’s new shopping mall is the largest in the area and a destination in its own right. Heading south on the path leads walkers to the pretty town of Campoamor.
Cabo Roig is just 25km from Murcia airport, which is well served by flights from around the UK. Typical flying time is two and a half hours. Alicante’s airport is about an hour’s drive away and also has regular flights to and from all UK destinations.
