The house
A long, private drive leads to a neat parking area for several cars in front of the house.
The house itself is facing away from the driveway and towards the stunning views across the valley.
The front door opens onto a large wide front hall, and from here there are steps leading down to the huge open plan living room. This marvelous space features stunning oak floors and a large wood-burning stove for cozy winter evenings, but our eyes are immediately drawn to the wide French doors facing the countryside laid out in front of the house. The views are simply wonderful and give a feeling of living in the middle of nature itself.
In front of the living room, a wide terrace provides ample space for outdoor living year-round.
A second set of French doors on the right-hand side of the room give additional light and amplify the sense of being in harmony with nature.
At one side of the living room, and set slightly back, we find the open-plan kitchen that was entirely refitted just two years ago. A large walk-in pantry gives added space to store all the kitchen implements that might otherwise clutter up the kitchen counters, as well as the fridge.
On this level we also find the main bedroom suite, comprising a large bedroom with the same wonderful view, a separate Wc and a shower room.

The garden
Like the rest of the property, the garden is beautifully maintained and a delight to explore. As the house is surrounded by terraces, the owners have planted a riot of flowering shrubs to embellish the attractive lines of the property.
There is a quirky little garden shed on one side, a long private driveway and ample parking for several cars in the area in front of the house. We especially liked the fact that once you enter the house you cannot see any cars from either the house or the gardens.
There are many fruit trees, a well-established vegetable garden and beautifully tended lawns.
