Full Description
In the last few days, following a real shortage of properties coming onto the market, we have been fortunate to take on three excellent properties, and this is one of them and probably my favourite. Is there such a thing as the perfect country villa? If there is, then this is right up there challenging. The location is perfect, true walking distance from the lovely village of Salinas and accessed by tarmac-covered roads, no tractor paths or potholes to contend with. The entrance gates are impressive and are operated by remote control and when they open there is a short driveway and to the left is the imposing villa and swimming pool and to the right a carport and a piece of and full of fruit trees but, what catches your eye is the mountains in the background, the view is breathtaking. The villa is all on one floor and built in an L shape. A covered terrace with more great views gives you access to the main entrance and the hallway with deep fitted wardrobes. The distribution of the property is how everyone would like it, the living areas to the right and the sleeping area and bathrooms to the left. The lounge/diner is splendid, a room with great character and loads of space, airy, light and comfy. The kitchen is modern with a beautiful island and off the kitchen is a utility room for washing and drying machines etc.The first bedroom off the hallway is the master or principal as I believe we have to call them these days. The principal is the biggest and has an en-suite bathroom and a dressing area. There are six more bedrooms, four are doubles and two would take double beds but are best described as large singles and there are two family bathrooms. This was originally the dream home for the family of seven, the owners had five boys but they have all flown the nest now and the property is too big for two people. There is a covered BBQ in the garden and a storage room to the rear, which houses the oil for the central heating. There are a number of A/C units, it really has everything. Here are six great reasons to live in Salinas, Alicante, Spain: 1.
