There are also private bilingual English /Spanish schools following the Spanish curriculum which are within 15 mins drive, and good local Spanish schools too with school buses that run from the village to the senior schools in Gandia.
Casa Leonora is only a 10 min drive to Gandia Historic city (or there are buses that can take you to the city and back again twice a day). Gandia has many shops and supermarkets, bars and top-quality restaurants. A must: visit the old Borgia Palace, the Culture Centre that has many live music events and the Theatre. Saturday is Market Day.
