The Manor

The many historical details contribute to the charm of this Manoir, such as the antique marble fireplaces, carved ceilings, tiled floors, antique parquet, beautiful woodwork or the double French doors.

On the ground floor are the spacious entrance hall and the reception rooms: the "small" salon (27 m2), the "large" salon (42 m2) partly furnished as a dining room and partly as a music room. The estate is accessed from the road by a large gate under a 19th-century gatehouse with two side wings. In it are 4 large annexes, over 2 floors with a floor area of 4 x 140 m2. To the right on the ground floor a large atelier. To the left on the ground floor is a stable building with horse stables. Above the studio and stables are two beautiful attics, both of which can still be converted for various purposes.
Next to the gatehouse is the former dovecote, where there are now 3 rooms with a large stock of firewood.

The Park
The buildings are surrounded by the private terrain of over 6600 m2, sheltered by centuries-old trees and provided with a beautiful grassy meadow in front of the house. The grounds are partly walled.
Two wells offer the possibility of using the groundwater for irrigation after installing a pump.

Location
This property is located in the campaign in the north of Haute-Vienne at 16 km from Le Dorat (town with medieval cité) and 6 km from Lathus Saint Rémy with bakery and small supermarket. The A20 motorway is 30 minutes' drive away, a train station at 18 km and an airport at 60 km away. This part of Haute-Vienne borders the Poitou. Within 18 km there is a hospital, shops and other amenities. This hilly region offers beautiful and rural surroundings.
