3 Bed House for sale
Dinan, Cotes-d'Armor, Brittany, France
Full Description
In the Côtes d'Armor, near the banks of the Rance, a 19th century sailor's house and its 1300 m² garden. A stone's throw from the center, the house neighbors a set of rows of straight granite stone houses. Low stone walls topped with metal gates and shrub hedges preserve the privacy of the property, both in the inner courtyard to the south and in the vast garden to the north. A gate and its wicket gate, framed by brick pillars and topped with an imposing wisteria, mark the entrance to the inner courtyard. Built in the mid-19th century, according to the standards of local architecture, this residence is a tall quarry stone building. The south façade is also decorated with wisteria. The frames of the windows are made of granite ashlar, as are those of the dormers in the attic. The outbuilding set at right angles dates from the end of the 19th century.
