Full Description
Casale Brunetti-Rosaia is located in Barisello, a hamlet of the Municipality of Aulla (Province of Massa Carrara - Tuscany Region), in the heart of Lunigiana and is a structure of great historical and environmental charm.
In fact, it was born in the last century as an agricultural company with a typical trattoria, where local agricultural and livestock products could be purchased and/or consumed, i.e. meat from the farm, vegetables from the garden, wine made with the grapes from the adjoining vineyard, and above all the famous Aulla focaccette, which the expert hands of the women of the house prepared in large quantities, attracting guests and tourists from all over Lunigiana and beyond and which today boast the De.Co. brand. (Municipal Denomination), a trademark for the protection of the typical and significant local food and wine productions of our Municipality which express the wisdom and tradition of the municipal territory.
Over time, once the restaurant closed due to lack of family continuity, the structure was the subject of a major renovation and redevelopment with new technologies, such as modern heating systems, double glazed windows, panels for thermal water, air fireplaces, in addition to fireplaces. traditional ones that still exist and function today, as well as new floors and beautiful internal doors in wood and decorated glass, which has transformed the complex into two elegant civil homes, land registry distinct, but communicating.
The environmental charm has remained intact: entering from the vaulted village, used as a widespread library, we find a suggestive cave which, in the wake of a popular tale of a miracle, has become a chapel dedicated to the Madonna delle Rose, the object of worship and popular celebrations in the month of May with the involvement of the surrounding area.
Continuing, you reach the large internal courtyard, immersed in the surrounding greenery, which can also be reached from the private vehicular access driveway to the property, which houses very large and comfortable garages and service rooms.
We go up to the house via a beautiful flower-shaped terracotta staircase: on the left, through the railing gallery we access the first real estate unit, independent and at the same time connected, consisting of a spacious open kitchen which opens onto the living room which, through a hallway, leads to the bedroom and bathroom; on the right we access the second, larger unit, consisting of a very spacious entrance living room, two very large bedrooms, two kitchens, two bathrooms and a study.
All around there is a long balcony which, while giving light to the entire interior, offers a wonderful panorama that develops starting from the fields attached to the house, easily irrigated thanks to an ancient collection tank, cultivated with vineyards where it is still produced an excellent wine, hazelnut, green, which slopes towards the river which with its slow and sweet flow offers peace and serenity unknown to the frenetic city life. The gaze can freely go even further, up to the Apuan Alps which surround the valley in the distance.
Given the surface area available internally for over 500 m2 and externally with over 15,000 m2 of appurtenant greenery, destinations other than the current residential use and specifically tourist-accommodation are also possible, since the complex could return to its natural vocation as an agricultural company, rather that of Agriturismo and/or Bed and Breakfast and/or elegant Holiday Home.
In the small but suggestive village of Barisello everything is possible, above all resuming slow rhythms, enjoying every hour of the day, regaining contact with nature and the earth, the real ones, of beauty and harmony.
All just 5 km from the center of Aulla with the city's services and its attractions and whose train station and motorway entrance allow you to quickly reach Versilia and/or the 5 Terre and in any case the main inland cities Tuscan, rather than the very nearby Liguria or Emilia Romagna. - Ref.
