The Guajares were already colonised by the Arabs in their time and ended up being one of the last retreats. The beautiful valley that stretches down to the great canyon of the Rio Guadelfeo is a green zone. Agriculture has always been practised here and still is today, and all kinds of fruit are grown.
The waterfall between Faraguit and Alto is spectacular and reveals its full splendour in spring.
