The MY ECOS passive building has the best possible orientation, and zero energy losses. MY ECOS is the first apartment complex in Greece to receive the Passive House certification from the Passive House Institute. The aim of the MY ECOS Passive Building is to offer the best possible living conditions and thermal comfort, with the lowest possible energy consumption. The MY ECOS passive building consumes 1/10 of the energy of a conventional building and 1/5 of an energy class A+ building.
Each apartment or maisonette in has an extremely low cost of use as it requires up to 5 times less energy for heating or cooling than the corresponding category A+ apartment according to KENAK, but also up to 10 times less energy compared to an average existing apartment. Insulation ensures that the house (walls, floors, ceilings, frames) will remain warm and comfortable even without the presence of an air conditioning system.
With a sophisticated yet simple circulation control system, the air entering the home is filtered and purified.
